After overcoming the session jam with many efforts year after year, the National University has returned to the session jam again due to Corona.
outbreak of the Corona epidemic, the entire educational activities were discontinued after taking exams in five subjects of the Honors fourth year finals. On the other hand, first year, second year and third year examinations are also closed. University authorities said it would not be possible to take the test if the situation in Corona was not favorable.
According to the Public Relations Department of the National University, educational activities have been conducted without any sessions for several years. But all the exams and classes are now closed as the educational institution is closed due to Corona. The situation in Corona may worsen in the winter, which has led to uncertainty about the opening of educational institutions soon. In this situation students want autopsy. However, the university authorities have not taken any decision in this regard. The decision to take the test is the same as before.
Meanwhile, the students have been seeking autopsy from the university authorities to avoid session jam for the last two months. But the university's vice chancellor, Professor. Harun-ur-Rashid Saf has informed that the certificate will not be given on the basis of assessment of Honors fourth year students without completing the examination. And the authorities have not yet made any decision regarding the first to third year students.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Harun-ur-Rashid told the Bengali Tribune about the demands of the students, 'Honors fourth year science students have taken 5 exams. There are four subjects left to test. There are three subjects left in the humanities, social sciences and business education. Besides, practical exams of science students are also left. There is a demand from those students that the results should be given based on the tests that have been done. Here is the position of the university এসে halfway down the street if the results of the exam are announced, Then you will not be able to apply to any foreign university with incomplete results. And if you apply for a job, employers will know that you have not passed all the exams. Then for students it will be the opposite of hit. It will become a permanent problem for students. That's why I told them to be patient. We will give the results of the remaining tests in the shortest possible time. '
But the students are not able to trust the vice-chancellor's words as they fear that the holidays will increase and the incidence of corona will increase in winter. They want to stay session-free.
The students said that the final examination of Honors first year was scheduled to be held in August-September, the second year examination of Honors was to be held in October-November and the final examination of Honors third year was to be held in January-February. But due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, the test was not held in time. And before Corona, examinations have been held on five subjects of the Honors Final Examination. There was no other test after the start of the corona.
Raju Ahmed, a BBA second-year student at Vrindavan Government College in Habiganj, said, 'We were supposed to have the exam in October-November. But the educational institution is not opening. There is no class. In this situation, I want autopsy so that I don't fall into session jam. If we start the online class after passing the second year, we will not fall in the session. If I don't do this, I will fall into a one-year session. ' Saib Rana, a BBA second year student of the college said the same.
Sohan, a first-year student at the National University, said, “We were supposed to have the exam last August-September. But the class has not been since Corona's holiday. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. In this case, we first year students want autopsy. Because, even if the educational institution opens in two or three months, it is not possible for anyone to get good results in the exams if they do not take new classes for a few months, or do not have time to prepare. But we are falling into session jam. So let our alternative system pass next year.
